Project Overview
EWS Environmental Services recently completed a project involving the safe removal of asbestos-containing drainpipes, followed by the installation of new, modern drain pipes. Asbestos cement drainpipes were commonly used in older properties, and when they become damaged or deteriorate, they pose a serious health risk due to the potential release of asbestos fibres.
This project was carried out in full compliance with UK asbestos regulations, ensuring the safe handling, removal, and disposal of the hazardous material, followed by the reinstatement of fully compliant, non-hazardous pipework.
