Project Overview
Environmental Waste Services were asked to carry out the safe removal of an asbestos cement waste pipe at a residential property. The original pipe was identified as an asbestos-containing material (ACM). We safely removed the pipe and replaced with new plastic pipework.
Scope of Work
- Double-bagging and secure containment of asbestos waste
- Transportation to a licensed hazardous waste facility
- Supply and installation of a new, durable uPVC soil pipe system
- Sealing, connection and full functionality testing post-installation
